College Rules

Attendance

  1. Students are expected to attend the college regularly. Parents/ Guardians are instructed to ensure that the students are regular at the college so they do not need tuition and the parents/guardians do not have to bear extra costs.
  2. According to the college/university rules, the students must have a minimum of 75% attendance in each subject.
  3. If the attendance of the student in an education year set by the education department is found less than 75%, they will be either expelled or according the college/university rules their exam form will not be sent. Even if the attendance of the student becomes less than 75% after the exam form is sent, roll number slip will not be issued. Decision of the Principal and the college council will be final.
  4. 80% attendance is required for practical subjects.
  5. In counting attendance, relaxation for sports and other extra-curricular participation will be given according to board and university rules but not more than 15 % in a year.
  6. Absence fine
    1. 10 rupees per day or per class absence
    2. Rs. 200 for uninformed absence from exams.
    3. Rs. 10 For being absence from tutorial group.
    4. No fine will be reduced especially fine imposed on the grounds of discipline, absence, irregularity.

Results

Discipline

To ensure discipline and high standard of education in the college, following are a few instructions for the students.

  1. Discipline must be maintained in the classroom and the ground.
  2. Avoid any destruction of property of the college otherwise the loss will be recovered from the student.
  3. Students must talk with the college principal, teachers, fellow students and the college staff in a polite manner. Impolite behaviour will be dealt strictly.
  4. Read the notice board daily.
  5. Observe good manners and etiquettes and respect the Islamic/ethical and Pakistani values.
  6. Students must take permission before entering the classrooms and college offices.
  7. Talking in a loud voice in the classroom, corridors and in the lawn is out of etiquettes.
  8. Students must attend the college regularly and arriving in class on time is their responsibility.
  9. Do not waste water and electricity and do not litter.
  10. College rules and regulations must be followed and maintain discipline and harmony and do not get involved in any immoral activity.
  11. Students must bring their parents / guardians with them on the parent-teacher meeting day. So, as they are given permission to sit in the next exam.
  12. Students can contact the students’ affair committee for their problems.
  13. Eating and partying is not allowed in the classrooms.
  14. Parties including birthday parties are not allowed in the college. Students who break this rule will be expelled from the college.
  15. Mobile phones are not allowed as per the instructions of the education department. If a student is caught using a mobile, their mobile will be confiscated and will not be returned.

College Leaving / Expulsion Rules

  1. College leaving application must be signed by the father/ guardian. For Medical leave, application will be submitted within one week of illness tenure.
  2. Any student will not be allowed to leave the college till all the dues including library dues are cleared.
  3. The students must pay all the fee and fine otherwise they will be expelled from the college.
  4. Any student who remains absent for 15 days continuously or otherwise without an application, does not pay the college dues, or bunks classes regularly, will be expelled from the college.
  5. Education and moral upbringing of the students can be done better by the collaboration of both the parents and the teachers. Any student who without reason bunks classes, their parents will be informed in form of a letter. If the parents/ guardians do not contact the principal/ relevant teachers, the principal/ relevant teachers’ action will be final according to the rules of Government.

College Uniform

All the students must follow the assigned uniform.

  1. Uniform must be of white shalwar kameez. Dupatta should be according to the class colour. In winter, students must wear Black jersey.
  2. The uniform must be of Pakistani cotton. The dress cloth should not be thin.
  3. Shirt be full sleeves, simple and of round neck.
  4. Net, silk dupatta is not allowed,
  5. Dupatta Colour scheme is as follows:
    1. Ist Year….. Blue
    2. 2nd year…… Purple
    3. 3rd year……Pink
    4. 4th year ….. Yellow
  6. Black/white shoes with white socks.
  7. Students are not allowed to wear any jewellery. If a student is found wearing jewellery, the jewellery will be confiscated and will not be returned.
  8. Students are not allowed to wear any type of makeup. Students found breaking this rule will be expelled from the college. Decision of the principal will be final.
  9. Uniform is checked every day. Any students who fails to follow the uniform code will be fined Rs. 10 per day. Parents are required to ensure proper uniform dressing of their daughters.

Library Rules

  1. Library is open during the college hours. It is mandatory for every student to be its member.
  2. Following books cannot be issued from the library
    1. Reference Books
    2. Magazines
  3. A student cannot issue books on another student’s card.
  4. Library security fee shall be returned upon the end of the board/university year. Final date for this will be announced according to exams dates.
  5. Library card and security form must be presented to get back the library security fee.
  6. Library will remain open during college hours, but certain days are fixed for different classes.

I.D Card

  • College I.D card is compulsory for the students which should be applied for within 15 days of the session starts.
  • Every student is to provide two additional photos with the admissions form for this purpose.
  • All the students are required to present their I.D card upon inspection.
  • In case the I.D card is not carried by student, fine of Rs. 50/- will be charged.

Tutorial Group

Tutors are selected from the teachers and are assigned to the students who are responsible for the students’ educational record, discipline and resolving any problems the students might face.

Financial Aid

Students of F.A/F. Sc/ADP who want to seek financial aid, can submit an application to the college. The application forms are available in the office.
